Dakota Johnson is one of Hollywood’s top names right now – and she wants to use her platform to make a difference.  Over the weekend, the actress appeared at the 2019 Global Citizen Festival to launch her new podcast, called The Left Ear. Johnson created the platform to give victims of sexual abuse and gender-based violence a platform to share their stories and be heard.  The name has special meaning with the actress explaining on Instagram, “Your left ear is the ear closest to your heart. Emily Hampshire is Launching a YouTube Show to Raise Funds for COVID-19 Relief

Schitt’s Creek star Emily Hampshire has a new project lined up: starting April 1, she will be hosting a weekly live-streamed talk show on YouTube titled Humpday With Hampshire . The show will raise money for The Actors Fund to help members of the entertainment industry (not just actors but also writers, agents, makeup artists, technicians and others) affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The show will stream Wednesdays at 2pm PST/5pm EST on The Actors Fund YouTube channel and will feature virtual interviews with celebrities from their homes, sharing advice on how to get through this unprecedented time.
